I’m Amanda Hollins, and I’m honored to be running for Kennedale City Council, Place 3. Kennedale is a wonderful community full of potential, and I believe we need strong, ethical leadership to ensure our city grows in a way that benefits all of us.
I have spent my career serving and protecting communities, first as a police officer for 15 years, and now as a small business owner, Chief Operating Officer for a nonprofit, and President-Elect of the East Fort Worth Business Association. My experiences have shaped my commitment to transparency, accountability, and problem-solving—qualities I will bring to City Council.
Kennedale needs real solutions for flooding, better road maintenance, and revitalization of empty buildings. I will work to ensure our infrastructure meets the needs of our growing community while maintaining the charm and safety of our neighborhoods.
I want Kennedale to be a thriving hub for businesses that align with our community’s values. I will work to cut through unnecessary red tape, provide resources for entrepreneurs, and support policies that help small businesses grow and succeed.
A well-run city means better services for residents, smarter financial management, and a government that works efficiently. I will focus on eliminating waste, improving communication, and ensuring that resources are used responsibly.
Families and business owners deserve fair and responsible tax policies. I will advocate for targeted tax relief that benefits residents while maintaining the financial strength of our city.
For 15 years, I served as a police officer, gaining a deep understanding of public safety, crisis management, and community needs. My time in law enforcement taught me the importance of trust, accountability, and taking action to solve problems.
As President-Elect of the East Fort Worth Business Association and Chief Operating Officer for a well-known nonprofit, I have worked to support economic development, connect businesses with resources, and improve the well-being of our communities.
As a small business owner, I know firsthand the challenges and opportunities that entrepreneurs face. I believe in creating a business-friendly environment that allows local businesses to thrive and contribute to our city's success.
I am committed to listening, taking action, and making a real difference in our community. Let’s build a better, smarter, and stronger Kennedale together!
